Mishawaka citizens have enjoyed exceptional city and utility services during Mayor Rea's first term. We know our citizens expect and deserve the very best in services! That is why each day the 511 workers of the City and Utility work hard to deliver those services. Whether it is leaf pick-up once a week every fall, snow-plowing from curb-to-curb within 24 hours after a snowfall, or rapid response from our police, fire, or emergency services personnel, Mayor Rea believes that City of Mishawaka employees do it better than anyone else around. Mishawaka has traditionally been the model other communities try to emulate. Delivering great services will continue to be a top priority of Mayor Rea's administration!
Mayor Rea is proud of the what the city has accomplished during the the first four years of his term. At a time when most governmental agencies are talking about reducing the services they deliver to the public, Mishawaka is not. During his term, Mayor Rea has found ways to continue to deliver you great services, but more efficiently. If re-elected, Mayor Rea will continue to make sure your tax dollars are spent wisely and that we run our operation as efficiently and as effectively as possible.
